Southern Highlands Participatory Organisation

This year Aqua4All published the report “A4A Field Assessment Report Realization and Sustainability Check”. In this report projects were compared between the following countries: Bangladesh, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Bolivia and Tanzania (represented by SHIPO). The project mainly focused on boreholes and rope pumps but also included some water gravity systems.

The assessments were done under the TMF 2006-2010 contract with the Directorate General for International Co-operation (DGIS), linked to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. SHIPO was given on almost all the aspects the highest score, which means that SHIPO is the best among the five countries.

SHIPO is very honoured with this result and promises to deliver the same quality in future.
