Tycho, a 9 year old boy from Holland, donated water filters for Itowo kindergarten. He raised the money all by himself by doing small tasks. His goal was to help children in Afrika.

When he had about €30,- he decided to give it to the Connect International Representatives asking them how he could help children in Njombe.
The suggestion was to buy some water filters for children in schools or in poor families. For Tycho the most important reason is that the children drink safe and clean water so that they will not get ill in future.

Community Development Officer went for monitoring visit to Itowo Kindergarten. He instructed the teachers how to use the water filters in the class rooms. In this school all the children have their own cup to drink from, so they can drink now clean water thanks to Tycho.
