Project purpose

To support primary education for children in the aged of 5 to 14 in Mwalombwe village.

Description of the project

The project is divided in two phases, both phases are sponsored bij NCDO. Phase one finished in June 2010 and the second phase started in June 2010 and will go on until 2011.

Target for phase one in this project was: two school blocks with four classrooms and two administration rooms, one teacher house, one office and one teacher latrine.

After finishing the construction of the first phase, the social phase started. The social phase aimed at maintaining the building, establishing a school fund, food provision for the children and continue creating awareness for school water, sanitation and hygiene (SWASH).

In cooperation with NCDO phase two started in June 2010 with construction of another school block with two classrooms and an administration room, kindergarten and one teacher house and a signboard.
