The project aims at motivating and helping rural communities in creating small scale self help sustainable projects to support orphans and vulnerable children.

In this Project beneficiaries are orphans and vulnerable children and their foster families living in Manga, Ngalanga, Mahongole and Igagala Villages.

Description of the project
Communities from four villages get the opportunity to start school clubs for orphans and vulnerable children. SHIPO helps them in creating small scale self help projects, like keeping chickens and pigs, gardening and planting trees. With the money gained from these projects it will benefit the children by supporting them in school fees, clothes and food.
Project progress
The project is finished in 2010 and the donor decided to support two more villages in pshyco social support for care takers and orphans and vulnerable children.
