Project purpose
To help children at Itowo village having access to kindergarten education before they go to primary school.

Beneficiaries are people from Itowo, especially the children in the age of 3 and 4 years.

Description of the project
Target of phase one was the construction of three complete classrooms, one store, one latrine and a kitchen as well as furniture for the children and teachers.
After finishing the school the social phase started. The social phases aimed at maintaining the building, establishing a school fund, food provision for the children and continue creating awareness for school water, sanitation and hygiene (SWASH). However SHIPO in collaboration with Lutheran centre trainer will provide a course for new teachers.
Project progress
The construction phase is finished and the social phase is going on. SHIPO has already handed over the school to the Itowo community and trained the teachers.
